V.g. , hand-written amendment to name of warden on last page; this promotional brochure was printed by Titus Wilson of Kendal. It describes the programme offered by the Centre, which set out deliberately to recruit boys from both scholastic and industrial backgrounds for outward-bound activities. Loosely inserted is a single sheet advertising the 1968 expedition programme of the Brathay Exploration Group, including trips to Tunisia, Foula, Icedland, Norway and Kenya. These were underwritten by F.C. Scott, owner of the Provincial Insurance Co. of Kendal, who was supported by trustees Peter F. Scott, the Bishop of Jarrow and J.O. Blair-Cunynghame. 16 pp., hand-drawn map on rear cover.
