V.g., cover with a few small creases. Written almost immediately after the revolution of 1978-9, the author adopts a rather critical stance vis-ˆ-vis the Shah's regime, but the book now seems very dated as it preceded (though it does anticipate) the Iran-Iraq war. The consequences of clerical rule aren't properly addressed, as the book ends with the fall of the Bakhtiar government, but the book is well referenced with regard to contemporary newspaper coverage.
